Gibson Estates (NI) - for
competitive, data protection and security reasons - do not
feature property addresses on our web site. Full colour brochures are
available on request - by quoting the reference number - from our office on
receipt of name, address and phone number of prospective purchaser. These
brochures - as any correspondence to any client - are forwarded via first
class recorded delivery.
When instructed by clients, we do not accept or retain keys to any property, but
arrange an appointment in order to record particulars, undertake photography and
enable prospective buyers to view property at a date and time convenient to the
client. With regard to requests to view occupied or vacant properties, we log
name, address and phone number of all interested parties. We will accompany
prospective buyers on "tours" of occupied and vacant properties, but keys to
vacant properties will be retained for safe keeping by client Solicitor before
and after such "tours".
Estate Agents Act
(1979) states that it is requirement to disclose to prospective purchasers,
any family
relationship or business association between the vendor and any employee or
partner, director or principal of an Estate Agency practice. If we were
aware of such a declarable interest, the relevant disclosure would be made
in sales and marketing particulars. If any client was aware that such a
relationship could exist prior to or at the time of signing agreement, they
would be requested to notify us a soon as possible. However, as a matter of
principal, Gibson Estates (NI) will not accept instructions
from clients where it would be deemed inappropriate to do so and/or lead to
a situation where a conflict of interest could arise.
Gibson Estates
(NI) also comply with the Data Protection Act (1998), in that all details (name,
address, phone number) supplied by prospective clients or viewers to our web
site in the form of e-mails, will remain private and will not be used for
purposes of third party marketing or sales. We do not
exchange or share personal data or private phone numbers of any client for
the benefit or financial gain of another.
